Jonathan Young served as a military intelligence analyst prior to transitioning to an export compliance career with a variety of experience in large commercial environments and niche military products. His areas of focus include export classification, AES filings, and due diligence screening. In both career fields, Jonathan has learned how to decipher government regulations, navigate sanctions, translate for engineers, and leverage the technology available to maximize results.

Jonathan discovered early on that understanding the technical details for himself is not enough, but communicating it to others is just as, if not more, important. He has trained groups ranging in size from one specialist to crowds of hundreds. Jonathan also has experience designing and implementing processes and forms used by U.S. corporations as well as developing and publishing analyses of foreign military products and “tactics, techniques, and procedures” for the United States Air Force.
